SEO Specialist

YOUR ROLE:

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a key member on the Advertising and Marketing team and is responsible for increasing keyword rankings and organic traffic by following best practices. This role will be responsible for overseeing the organic growth and visibility for our network of brands--working to identify key opportunities and ensure strong performance of all owned initiatives. Candidates should have the ability to build out roadmaps, unify cross-functional teams to drive exponential growth, research, analyze, and make a business case to invest in the SEO channel. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, possesses strong communication skills, and be quick to take initiative. The best candidate will be able to influence key stakeholders across departments.

We’re looking for a creative, self-directed, and motivated individual that has the ecommerce search engine optimization experience to thrive with our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and oversee execution of SEO related activity
  • Provide project management for technical SEO initiatives
  • On-site SEO review and improvement (including on page meta data)
  • Provide SEO-related analysis and input on user-focused site components (such as information architecture, UX, and content)
  • Implement and maintain SEO strategies such as, SEO copywriting, keyword research, and link building efforts
  • Stay current on the latest industry trends, best practices, and search algorithm updates
  • Execute against the SEO strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across all channels to ensure its effectiveness and maximizing organic rankings and conversion rate
  • Work with all other marketing and merchandising teams to ensure SEO programs are fully integrated with all related marketing and merchandising activity to drive maximum organic ranking and related traffic, conversion rate and sales
  • Monitor and communicate performance against effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of SEO. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 Years of experience with SEO for ecommerce web sites
  • Experience with technical SEO
  • Experience with digital marketing metrics and reporting
  • Solid understanding and application of Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Adhere to search engine guidelines
